BACKBONE CABLING
NCE can provide backbone cabling which includes voice, data and fibre between buildings along with linking computer rooms. Backbone cabling is the inter-building and intra-building cable connections in structured cabling facilities, equipment rooms and telecommunications closets. Backbone cabling consists of the transmission of media, main and intermediate cross-connects and terminations at these locations.

OPTICAL FIBRE
NCE can supply install and test all types of fibre optic cables including single model (OS1), multimode (OM1 & OM3), loose tube, tight buffered and military specification. We can fault find breaks and large loos points by using the latest OTDR and repair. An optical fibre is a glass or plastic fibre that carries light along its length. Fibre optics is the overlap of applied science and engineering concerned with the design and application of optical fibres. Optical fibres are widely used in fibre-optic communications which permits transmission over longer distances and at higher bandwidths than other forms of communications. Fibres are used instead of metal wires because signals travel along them with less loss, and they are also immune to electronic interference.

PROFESSIONAL TESTING AND TEST RESULTS
NCE utilises quality certified testing equipment to provide customers with reliable and accurate permanent and channel link testing. NCE uses the latest software provided by Linkware to download test results which can be presented to clients in order to obtain certification warranties from manufacturers.

AS BUILT DRAWINGS
NCE can provide drawings and plans indicating the pathways and outlet locations of the communications cabling that we have installed for the complete install.

LAN and WAN
